Self-leveling stair

A stairway is an excellent embellishment to any self-supporting passerelle.  Typically there are two approaches to adding a set of stairs to the plank.  The simple method is to integrate a set of boarding stair mounts into the final section of the passerelle.  This allows a set of Deluxe Tri-Rail Yacht Stairs to be manually attached to the gangplank.  The Deluxe Tri-Rail Yachtstair is a self-leveling stairway ensuring that boarding will always be comfortable and safe.  The benefit of using the stairway is multi-faceted.  It can provide that extra deployed length in those circumstances when a little more length is useful.  For some, boarding the yacht up a set of stairs is more comfortable than walking up a long incline.  A set of stairs will allow the passerelle to remain level during the boarding process.

The passerelle may also be fabricated with a set of self-leveling stairs built into the plank section.  In this configuration the stair-treads may be locked into the level/aligned position and the plank section remains a ramp.  When the angle of deployment increases the stairs may be configured into the hydraulic self-leveling mode.  This design enhances the passerelle's utility, and doesn't require crew to manually install the stairs when needed.  The passerelle may be used as an accommodation stairway to board the yacht from the quay or the tender.
