LOW PROFILE DAVIT SYSTEM

innovative solution to power rotating a low
profile davit system.
Nautical
Structures understands that discriminating boat
owners selected their vessel for its style and
lines, thedavit system needs to be as inconspicious
as practicle. With this in mind Nautical Structures
had developed the HMC (Hydraulic Mini Crane)
series of davits with stylish, aesthetically
pleasing lines and a super low profile configuration.
This davit is an ideal system for most sportfish
yachts.
Now
these exceptional davit systems can be power
rotated for increased safety and ease of operation.
This great new option can be added to nearly
any standpipe/compression post application and
many existing davit systems can be retrofitted
to accept this new innovation.
A
fine example of this new technology is found
in our Nautical Structures HMC-1100/1600-3 low
profile hydraulic yacht davit, as shown below
on the foredeck of a 2003 Hatteras 54 Convertible.HMC
Davit
The
HMC davit is a high-end yacht davit offered
in 1,100 pounds or 1,600 pounds lifting capacity.
The davit is full-load capable through it's
full range of boom travel (0 to 60-degrees of
luff) and provides a maximum reach of 10-feet
in its horizontal boom attitude. Suitable for
applications where the davit may be subjected
to immersion in green water the davit is constructed
from marine alloy 5086 aluminum, features an
anti-corrosive aluminum boom-luff cylinder and
a five-step corrosion-inhibiting marine finish,
featuring the AwlGRIP marine paint system. The
davit can power slew (rotate) 359-degrees on
a standpipe and stows at an extremely low profile.
This is the perfect solution for a foredeck
or swimplatform application or any low profile
davit requirement.
