Our administrative staff are your boating supply experts

Nautical Structures’ President Bob Bolline is a Michigan State graduate. He captained yachts in the Great Lakes and Caribbean, owned a heavy-equipment construction company, and built 100+-foot yachts in South Florida. Bob now manages administration, product development at Nautical Structures. Bob is a devoted father to one daughter, and is often found boating in Tampa Bay or enjoying a game of golf on the weekends.

 Rick Thomas: Marine Suppliers, Marine Equipment Supplies
Rick Thomas
Vice President of Sales Rick Thomas is a Florida Institute of Technology graduate. He began his career in the marine industry working in the commercial diving industry and later in the residential boat-lift industry. Rick is involved in new product development and client liaison; with focus on the larger custom projects and developments within the industry at Nautical Structures. Rick is currently serving his third consecutive term as an executive board member of the International Superyacht Society. Rick is the father of three sons, and enjoys the specialty of Technical Diving in his free time.

Managerial staff who really make an impact

Many Nautical Structures staff members have been with the company for a decade or more. Paul Badalucco, our electronics department supervisor, Rick Martin, head of the quality control department and Jeffrey Wollum and Ken Edcius, two of the finest metal fabricators in the industry have all worked at Nautical Structures for over 17 years. Bob Blue, our charismatic sales manager, has worked for Nautical Structures for more than 20 years. Affectionately known as the 'Duke of Davits', Bob's royalty is found in his focused commitment to our clients. With over two decades of experience in yacht davit application, Bob has probably seen it all. Prior to immersing himself in the yachting industry, Bob worked in the automotive industry. Bob is a father to two daughters. One of Bob's passions is drag racing and classic cars.

 Martin Hjermind: Yachting Suppliers, Yachting Accessories Supplies
Martin Hjermind
Martin Hjermind, the manager of European Sales has worked for Nautical Structures over five years. Martin's experience building boats goes back to 1992 when he worked in a Danish shipyard building tankers, learning about the art of ship-building from the ground up. Martin went to work at Danyard as the Purchasing manager and participating in the build of the Princess Mariania. Martin understands large yachts and provides professional interface between the shipyards in Europe and the Factory in Florida. Martin is a devoted father of three, and has a passion for golf. With Martin the glass is always half-full.

James Baumann, the head of the engineering department, has designed and engineered commercial cranes for more than 24 years. His knowledge and experience provides Nautical Structures the guidance to enhance production, create new safety features in electro-hydraulic products, and decrease the cost to manufacture these products. Jim’s team consists of three draftsmen and a production engineer who use AutoCAD™ and SolidWorks™ software to design and document all products. Nautical Structures has a library of more than 700,000 parts and individual assembly drawings in the engineering database.  Jim is a father of three daughters, and enjoys the game of golf.

 Eric Johnsen: Yachting Supplies Services, Professional Yacht Architect
Eric Johnsen
Eric Johnsen manages the service department, ensuring that our client’s needs and expectations are met with exceptional customer support. Eric maintains a record of all products manufactured at Nautical Structures, and is able to support these products with a staff of in-house field service technicians and service agreements in place with shipyards and service companies world-wide. Nautical Structrures’ ability to reach out and support our products is unsurpassed in the marine industry.

Lynsy Skewes, the controller, has been employed at Nautical Structures for over ten years. She supports the office staff with IT support, finance and banking experience and a great eye for detail in the paper that moves the company. She also has a great rapport with our clients. Lynsy comes to Nautical Structures with a lot of international experience having worked in three countries. Lynsy enjoys cooking, NASCAR and killing paper targets on the weekend.
