The HMC Davit System is an example of exceptional design for the modern yacht. It is constructed from aluminum, including aluminum hydraulic cylinders, which make the system light and very resistant to corrosion. These davits are ideal for wet locations with demanding duties. A standard feature of the HMC Davit System is our innovatative , non-fouling Hydraulic Liner Winch system, rigged with non-rotating stainless steel wire-rope and waterproof, low-tactile hand controls machined from Delrin.

Nautical Structures’ HMC-1100, HMC-1600 and HMC-2200 Hydraulic Davit Systems represent the current state of the art in hydraulic yacht davit systems. Available in SWL capacities of 1100, 1600 and 2200-Lbs (500, 725 & 1000-Kgs), and provided in both a mono-boom or telescoping-boom configuration the HMC Davit may be configured for most tender-handling applications. Compare the features of this davit against any other and you will find the performance and value of this equipment unsurpassed. The davit originaly designed for use on Sport-fishing yachts features an exceptionally low-profile boom, ten-foot-long (3.0-m) which is capable of being fully loaded to its safe working load capacity in any position without restriction. Understanding the exceptionally wet conditions found on the deck of a Sportfish yacht, we build this davit only with our “Greenwater” upgrade featuring aluminum hydraulic cylinders and protected electrical system. With operational safety being our prime focus, the HMC Davit System features our silent operating Hydraulic Linear Winch system, a totally non-fouling winch design. The hydraulic davit is powered by a remotely mounted one-horsepower hydraulic power unit, or may take power from an existing hydraulic system. Aluminum hydraulic cylinders, standard in all HMC Davits actuate each function for unsurpassed corrosion resistance, power and dependability. The HMC Davit rotates easily by hand on sealed steel bearings. A hydraulic power rotating standpipe or integrated rotation may be selected as an optional feature to enhance the davit‘s operating convenience. A through-deck standpipe is the typical mounting structure for the HMC Davit, although a pedestal base mount may also be used in some applications. The HMC Davit System is finished to our highest standards. The aluminum structure is chromated and then primed with a two-part epoxy primer. Then the system is faired, and then primed again. The davit is hand sanded, and then moved into our heated finish booth where it is coated with a two-part AwlGRIP urethane spray-applied paint finish in a color of white to match your vessel. The davit system is assembled and then moved onto our dynamic load-testing center where our quality assurance department load tests every davit we produce prior to delivery to the customer.
